Taya was born in Siberia and grew up in Germany. She was the daughter of an artist and a ballerina and was therefore naturally drawn to the arts. She took every ballet and painting class she could. At the age of 8 she got into Vaganova Ballet Academy in St Petersburg, one of the most prestigious ballet academies in the world. At 10, she moved to Germany where she took an interest in math and science, which is now what she is currently majoring in at UNLV. When she is not studying she loves to be outdoors or play with her pets, a Siberian Husky and a cat.
